The inside of the building looks complete. They carpet has been installed. The pews are in place. The organ has been installed.

Much of the furniture has arrived, actually maybe all of it, I don't know. They only thing that was obviously missing were the pianos and the seats on the stand for the branch presidency.

I was able to get a few pictures inside today. I went by at lunch time to be sure I got in. Lately they haven't been staying long enough to go by after work.

I believe all the light fixtures have been hung. All the walls I noticed were painted (but I did still smell fresh paint).

All doors have been hung. And all the dividers have been hung also.

All the nameplates for the rooms are in place and we now know which room in the back has been designated as the Primary Room. I imagine that will be changing.

Sacrament Prep Area Wallpaper in the Chapel Gym/Chapel

I was surprised to see that the chapel has been wallpapered. It is a nice subtle touch.

There was someone there working in the bathroom. I think he was installing the partitions.

All we need now is carpet and pews.

I was able to get a few pictures inside today. They have been working long hours. They are usually there by 7:00 am and many days I still see someone there past 6:00 pm.

As I walked through the hallways many of the classrooms had notes on them saying they were finished painting.

Many of the light fixtures have been installed, but the Relief Society room was just getting started as I was there. The thermostats were being wired while I was there also.

The podium area was almost complete (minus the floor), and they are still working on the wheelchair ramp.

The gym floor looked finished. And all the fixtures in the bathrooms had been installed. All that is left is to hang the stalls.

I thought this was the Libray, but it's not

I am getting so excited to be in our new building. It is beautiful! Most of about everything is complete. Which is a good thing!

Classroom Gym Chapel

There was one light hung in the chapel I would would guess about 7 more to go. Most of the classrooms had lights installed.

Most of the trim is on the walls. None of the doors have been hung. But that won't happen until the painting is complete (maybe they will even wait for the carpet to be installed first).

They were finishing up the sisel in the last couple of rooms while I was there. It is only being hung on the bottom 3 feet of the walls.

The gym floor has been installed, and they are now preparing it to be finished. The basketball goals have been installed also.

Clerks Office

All the drywall is hung and most of it is painted with at least one coat of paint. The ceiling has been hung in the chapel. And the ceiling in the gym is half done. It I remember correctly, all the ceilings are hung in the classrooms.

About half of the doorways have been painted white. The entry ways on either side of the building still need to be worked on. There was some trim in the chapel, but there was no trim anywhere else in the building.

While I was there the cabinets were being hung in the kitchen. Both clerk's offices had the cabinets completed already. And the Relief Society room was waiting for the cabinets to be anchored in. The cabinets in the library were waiting for their doors to be attached.

Inside they have continued work on the drywall. The ceiling in the gym and one wall is done, but the other wall is still bare. They have also spackled most of the drywall that has been hung.

It also seemed that most of the electrial wires have been run. I didn't go around and check all the rooms, but all the rooms I did look in were complete.

I would guess that about 60% of the drywall has been hung. The chapel itself is almost done. They have not yet started the drywall in the gym.

Most of the classrooms and hallways have drywall. They still need to do the plaster, but at least the drywall is up on the wall.

Today I was able to get inside again to take a few pictures. Since the last time I was inside they have almost finished the insulation.

The electrical box has circuit breakers in it, but the wires still have not been pulled. It did seem that all the outlet boxes were in place in all the rooms. I also noticed that the door frames have been hung.

There is drywall in the two large rooms in the back of the building, but I don't remember it being hung anywhere else. I am still curious to see how the ceiling will be in those rooms. None of the frame work for the ceilings has been built yet.

I received permission to go inside and take some photos today. From across the street the building seems small, but inside is a whole different story.

Inside they have done an incredible amount of work. The plumbing looks complete (except for the fixtures which can't go in until the floor goes in). The heating and air conditioning is coming along. I noticed that the breaker box is completely empty, so there is still most of the electrical work to do. But I did see quite a few electrical boxes in place. The canned lighting fixtures were also hung in the chapel.

There is a minimal amount of drywall that has been hung. Mostly it has been hung in the attic area where many of the mechanicals are located. This tells me they are pretty much done with placing the mechanical equipment in the attic.
